Minor complications can occur with collagen cross-linking

My Doctor said last Nov. 25 that my CXL operation was a success, but it seems I'm not contented with her explanation regarding my recovery. I was so worried of the complication can occur to my precious eyes. Nevertheless, thanks to the article of A. John Kanellopoulos, MD last Dec. 10 2011 I'm kind of relived. In that article, only minor complication could occur with collagen cross linking.

Does Rabies hibernate?

In Tia Ghose article published via scientist.com showed that rabies of Eptesicus fuscus (a big brown bat species) hibernate together with its host.

Vampire bats infrared sensing skills

In the article written by Jessica P. Johnson dated   August 4, 2011 in scientist.com showed how the vampire bats find the vein of its prey. This was possible due to an infrared-sensing protein channel in bats particular the vampire species to identify the hottest part of the warm blooded animals (mammals).
